Closed for business april 17th 2007 - Posted By : IR If you haven't guessed, the project doesn't really exist anymore. Things kinda ended around this time last year. I've thought about mixing down the tracks and trying to send them out but there's no point at this point so I am locking the forums and have posted mp3's in a RAR file for the 10 track demo (Water Seekr) we had almost ready to send out. It was a good 5 years with this would have been the 4th release. Things just wern't working out with K and myself. Files be posted in the music section off of the main site. March 22 - Posted By : K While most are unaware of, over the past few months I haven't been all that activley involved in Foil Conduit due to several reasons (spending a lot of time with my new boyfriend, work and it's lengthy commute, a general sense of depression, and an overall lack of confidence/ambition). I knew the shit would hit the fan eventually...and it did. Needless to say after a few internal/personal issues were confronted some compromises were reached and the band is communicating more as a whole now. A large portion of the aforementioned problems stemmed mainly from my apathy and a lack of communication...at least on what I interpretted as a serious level. Apologies. I respect IR's ambition, was unaware it was as large as it is, and after talking some of that confidence has overflown into me. I have several new tracks in progress which will help take some of the hefty workload off IR, and after reflecting on our desires for what we wish to achieve with this music project, I can only hope that my fervor can match that of IR's. Big plans are in store over the coming weeks/months, and in a short time several new tracks will be available and are more stylisticly advanced to complete the WaterSeekr sessions and extend it to a full length recording. Jan 20th, Far Too Early In The Morn... - Posted By : K As IR mentioned, the demo is complete. I have either A) the onset of a bound to be bad cold B) a throat infection, or at worst C) strep-throat. As I have taken today off sick I will most likely use it to rough out a one sheet after (pending how I feel if i decide to visit the clinic) a short nap and an attempt to dig up an older Frag Ops ambient/tribal track IR wishes to do live. In an attempt to movitate myself I have several new lyrics started (which I may attempt to record before any music is completed) as well as several track idea's floating around in my head...all of which are an egress from the introverted similacrum that is WaterSeekr. That said, in conjunction with the merging of certain techniques developed for the now back burner project, Delta Theta Projekt, I am for the first time in a long time happy with the music itself on a Foil Conduit release. =============== In the past I played a larger part with the production of the music itself (and do so in the early tracks on this release) but have relinquished a lot of creative control to IR this time around as the EP progresses.....which leaves me wondering why I didn't do this sooner. As for progress, everything is recorded (with the exception of a touch up or two) and just needs final processing and mixing work. ========================== Over the past two years my perceptions on relationships have been gradually changing. Nov 22 track updates - Posted By : IR Currently are waiting for vox to be recorded on the remaining 2 tracks and re-recorded for 2 others. I have almost completed the repack of EmuChrist which we may feature on the EP, currently undecided if it will be ready on time or if it will fit the theme of the EP. Other then that, there is a super ultra fun track getting the finishing touches done to it, should be a good time with this one. Something to make sure everyone out there doesn't take everything so serious and can have fun and relax once and a while. It is themed after Aqua Teen Hunger Force - the aliens from it vs Nightrider. After this is completed and the repack of emuchrist is done, I will be starting my secret project. It will be one track released as foil conduit, probably not on anything, but will be awesome, if I can pull it off. Not even K knows about it so don't bother asking him what it is. When and if I can finish it, you'll want to download it. If I can get it the way I want, and from the idea I have for it, I should be able to pull it off. I just need to get some time to start on it. After that, we have a bunch of remixes to do for other bands, and will be working on a new cover on top of promotion stuff for the EP and finishing the album. Oct 17, 2005 - Posted By : K This is the first time I've posted on the website in over a year. Things are coming along quite nicely. I'm settled in with Mike and he is doing some very nice work of late. Delta Theta Projekt is now (for the time being) just a place for me to develope new techniques and my more experimental works have been incorperated into Foil Conduit. Some very interesting things are happening through the abuse of beat slicing and sampling of guitar (eventually there will most likely be real ones :P). I as of now haven't contributed much to the band since I've relocated aside from the recording of some demo quality vocals and minor additions/reworkings of a few tracks in progress. I Broke Them In is more or less completed, and Penchant is also almost done (both were Delta Theta Projekt tracks that Mike has done a nice job fixing up). He also added some very nice hellish percussion overlaying the original I added to a track we've had in progress for quite some time. There is one new track we've both worked on that I currently think is our best to date (abstract almost IDM drums mixed with oldschool beats and abused sliced guitar). Vocals will be coming soon. The chapter of this EP is coming to a close quickly, much quicker than any of our other "releases", and we hope to have it available quite soon. Read More - Replies 1

sept 29 - Posted By : IR K is officially in tomorrow living with me again. Lots of music on the way. We currently have 2 tracks 99% done and another 3 or 4 on the way with one in the works. We will be realeasing a demo EP out to promoters and labels sometime in october if everything goes as planned. Verge is working on a super fucking awesome cover and other album art for the EP release. The work so far looks really nice. I'm very happy with the progress of it. Since this EP will not be a public release I'll post up some MP3s in lower quality on the site and some high quality ones in the members section for downloading until something happens for us...... or if nothing comes of sending out the EP, I'll wait for the album to be finished and just press it myself and sell it at cost or just a tiny bit above to make some extra money so we can get some promotion stuff put together and sent out....since money is tight for me at the moment. K has all his music gear here now, so I have to work the next couple days to integrate it into the current setup, but everything will be sounding good and we should be able to get a lot of stuff done in the next little while. hang in there! lots will be comming your way shortly. sept 6 - Posted By : IR Just finished working on 4 of 5 tracks and started another... so we're looking at 6 so far and whatever K has on the go. so far this is the status. 1. done 3. awaiting vox plus final mixing 1. awaiting vox and final drum programming (when my knee is better) and the last I just started a little bit ago and its still in its very early forms, but its comming together nicely. I'll hopfully be working with DJ Leslie in the next little bit to get them final mixed and touched up, so that we can put out a nice 6-7 track EP for sending out looking for a label. check the members area soon for the start of the song that I'm working on.
